Sales Operations Analyst

Description

Environmental and Combustion Controls (ECC) is a strategic business unit in Automation and Control Solutions (ACS). ECC provides integrated product solutions in heating and heating processes, ventilation, cooling and refrigeration, air purification, zoning, humidification, air conditioning, water controls and processes, electrical devices and systems, lighting control, switches, sensors and controllers. Our technologies are found in more than 150 million homes, 10 million buildings, and a multitude of manufacturing plants around the world. Customers include original equipment manufacturers, commercial, homeowners, contractors, retail, trade building managers, consulting engineers and distributors.
 
We are hiring a Sales Operations Analyst for our Golden Valley, MN facility. The qualified candidate will support the day-to-day analytical needs of the ECC Americas selling organizations.  This position will be responsible for providing strategic and tactical analyses to the sales and marketing organizations.  Develops recommendations and works with sales leadership, marketing, and the sales ops team to implement changes that achieve commercial effectiveness goals.  Participates as analytical support for sales initiatives and leads projects as appropriate. This position will support the Sales Operations Supervisor with the Sales Leader/Director priorities.
 
Job Duties:
  • Supports team reporting and analysis, with focus on analyzing CRM data
  • Supports day-to-day reporting needs of the sales organization
  • Provides CRM training to new and existing employees
  • Manage MS Access databases to track customer point of sale data
  • Calculate commissions for manufacturer reps on a monthly basis
  • Act as an ECC Americas sales team business partner, with expert knowledge on the sales organization, to be able to integrate with IT systems changes
  • Works with sales leadership to dig into pipeline, product mix, etc. and provide insight into areas of opportunity
  • Provides reporting and analysis to buying groups, and manufacturer reps, on a monthly basis
  • Reports on marketing programs/promotions as needed

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1+ years experience in a sales, financial, or business analyst position
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High levels of analytical and systems knowledge, integrative thinking, and customer focus
  • 1+ years advanced experience in Access with ability to write queries
  • 1+ years advanced experience in Excel with ability to write advanced formulas
  • SAP or Oracle systems experience
  • Project management experience
  • Self motivated with the ability to multitask and alternate between projects effectively
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate internally with all levels of the organization as well as with external customers and customer facing documentation
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment
