In this role, you would be a valued member of the development team in Tridium's World Headquarters in Richmond, Virginia. As a member of this team, you would be working closely with all business functions to create industry leading software for Tridium.
Tridium, a division of Honeywell's ECC business unit, is the inventor of the Niagara Framework. Tridium is the world leader in platform software for building device to enterprise solutions serving the markets for building control, industrial automation, energy information systems, and end-to-end applications.
ECC is a strategic business unit in Honeywell's Automation and Control Solutions (ACS). ECC provides integrated product solutions in heating and heating processes, ventilation, cooling and refrigeration, air purification, zoning, humidification, air conditioning, water controls and processes, electrical devices and systems, lighting control, switches, sensors and controllers. Our technologies are found in more than 150 million homes, 10 million buildings, and a multitude of manufacturing plants around the world. Customers include original equipment manufacturers, commercial, homeowners, contractors, retail, trade building managers, consulting engineers and distributors.
Position Responsibilities include:
- Developing software for the Niagara Framework and other related applications
- Work with customers and product managers to define product requirements
- Design and implement solutions working in a collaborative team environment
- Design and implement complete system solutions
- Participate in full development cycle from concept to release.
We will grant experience credit for candidate's with exposure to these system in an educational environment.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or comparable Engineering degree
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 3+ years experience with object oriented programming languages
Additional Qualifications:
- 8+ years of software development experience is preferred
- 8+ years experience with object oriented programming languages if preferred
- Prefer software development experience to be in applications vs. embedded
- Experience working in a team environment.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
