Honeywell has an exciting opportunity for an Installation Technician Specialist! Honeywell Building Solutions is looking for an Installation Technician Specialist in our Albany, NY location. The Installation Technician Specialist will install and/or commission Honeywell Control Systems in a commercial, process, or institutional environment. Responsibilities:

Plan and coordinate HVAC, Fire, and security installation with the project engineer, project manager, and the customer for assigned projects using programming tools and standards as required.

Manage technical aspects of job including customer interface and training, commissioning and close out of project.

Assist Sales Force to review cost estimates and participate in the risk review process of projects.

Assist the business leadership function to plan and report financials of assigned projects. Manage costs and labor on assigned projects.

Coordinate with owner and contractor all project related activities, assigning IP address, ensuring adequate bandwidth is available, set up remote access around firewalls for checkout, fine tuning and servicing.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:

Associate's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or IT or in lieu of degree two years of Automation Controls experience.

One year experience with Microsoft Office

Valid Drivers License
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience working with HVAC, fire alarm and/or security systems.

Experience with system integration, networking and software interfaces.

Excellent organizational skills.

Excellent Communication skills oral and written.

Strong time management skills must be a self motivator.
